Virtual exhibition tours, the new collections portal, DIY workshops, lectures, and more – the museum delivered to your home

Due to the "Lion's Roar" war and Home Front Command instructions, Haifa Museums have been forced to close their doors. However, on the Haifa Museums website, you can find a variety of free museum experiences suitable for the general public to help pass the time: virtual guidance for the exhibition "Beit Ha'am. The Templers: Heritage and Dream."

* Collections Portal:

Haifa Museums recently launched a new portal featuring approximately 50,000 items from the museums' various collections. This is a highly innovative system for managing museum collections, which until now has been used in a pilot phase by curators, art researchers, and academics—and has now been opened to the general public, free of charge.

Yotam Yakir, CEO of Haifa Museums: "Haifa Museums have been closed since yesterday according to the instructions, but we have a range of digital capabilities open to everyone and free of charge. Now is the time—while you are at home in your protected space—to enjoy them together as a family. Haifa Museums will continue to be with you and provide every possible service even at this time, as we did during COVID and during previous wars. This is our mission, and we will continue to fulfill it in every way."

* Haifa Museums offer the public, free of charge, an audio guide integrated with a photo gallery from the exhibition, in 4 languages: Hebrew, Arabic, English, and Russian.
