A culinary, culture, and tourism festival over four content-filled days: wineries, boutique dairies, home kitchens, creative workshops, and nature sites. Wednesday-Saturday, May 20-23.

The Galilee asks us not to forget it. It is spectacular, inviting, fascinating, and moving! Head north, show some love, offer support—and the Galilee will do the rest.

The Beit HaKerem Cluster of Authorities has made a brave decision to announce the 'Ba Li Galil' 2026 festival, following three complex years of an ongoing war and northern tourism that has almost completely ground to a halt. The festival will take place for the fourth time as a celebration of flavors, cultures, and magical landscapes during the long Shavuot holiday weekend, May 20-23, with a program packed with activities and content.

Central Galilee is a place like no other in Israel. Ten local authorities—Jewish, Druze, Muslim, and Christian—live here side by side, creating a human and cultural tapestry worth getting to know, tasting, hearing, and smelling in every corner. Boutique wineries alongside Arab home kitchens, Jewish artists alongside traditional village cooks, and breathtaking landscapes. All these are not just tourism; they are the true story of good neighborliness in action.

Raz Tischler, CEO of the Beit HaKerem Cluster: "This time, more than ever, strengthening northern tourism businesses is a duty for all Israeli citizens. We are creating a better reality. The festival provides a unique opportunity to get to know the people, landscapes, and flavors of the Central Galilee. I invite Israeli citizens to come, support, and take part in a festival filled with unique content and characters you can only meet here in the Beit HaKerem Cluster."

What’s at the Festival: During the Shavuot holiday weekend, four content-filled days await us: wineries, boutique dairies, home kitchens, creative workshops, and nature sites in the Galilean Beit HaKerem Cluster will open their doors to festival-goers. The cluster's first wine fair, representing a unique terroir, will take place on the eve of the holiday at the Pelech Winery, hosting the region's excellent wineries: Lotem, Kishor, Harashim, Lahat, and Segev. There will be cheese and chocolate workshops, meals, and cooking classes in the kitchens of home cooks, whose secrets you won't find in any restaurant.

For fans of culture and human encounters—a moving lecture on the heritage of Ethiopian Jewry, open houses of artists in Har Gilon and Shekhanya, an emotional tour through the alleys of the ancient village of Rama, and authentic Bedouin hospitality in a tent accompanied by a coffee ceremony and stories from the heart. For nature and adventure lovers—a first-of-its-kind trek on the new Beit HaKerem Trail! A trek stretching over 120 km of Galilean landscapes, jeep tours in the Beit HaKerem Valley, a walk with a herd of goats in Tuval, and navigation games in the Segev Forest for the whole family.

First and Special Exposure for the Festival: The picturesque and unique community of Ma'ale Zviya will open its gates to the general public and reveal its treasures: its spiritual path—the Way of Iman—its ecological focus, and its vibrant nature. As part of the festival, visitors will enjoy all the community has to offer through diverse business, educational, and community activities. You will discover an exciting food market, a unique drum maker, an opera singer, a natural pharmacy workshop, introductory tours, and much more.

The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Tourism. Date: May 20-23, Wednesday to Saturday, Shavuot holiday weekend. Ticket purchases are available on the festival website; some events are paid and some are free. Visit us on the website to discover the full program.
