Kayma Hotel Dead Sea: Isrotel Chain Brings the News of Super-Luxury Hospitality to Israel
Isrotel surprised us this year, 2025, with several announcements: it opened 4 new hotels in Israel during the complex year of 2025: "Droma" in Mitzpe Ramon, "Ayla" in the Upper Galilee, the "Gymnasia" hotel in Tel Aviv, "Kayma" in the Dead Sea (which we will elaborate on in this article); It also opened and will open hotels outside of Israel, within the ALUMA subsidiary; and it is also giving "face lifts" to its hotels in Israel, such as the renovation of the chain's first hotel, "King Solomon" in Eilat, planning renovations in its other hotels across the country, and more to come.
The poet Nathan Zach wrote in his famous poem (composed and sung by Mati Caspi): "How does a single star dare. How does it dare, for goodness sake...". And how did Isrotel really dare, in such a difficult and volatile period, to embark on such a business move? Since I don't suspect them of recklessness for its own sake, it seems to indicate the company's strength, and this was testified to by the CEO of the chain, Lior Raviv, who noted yesterday, at a meeting with the press, that the company's stock recorded an impressive jump of more than 60% since the beginning of 2025. Wow!
And a reason to celebrate: Isrotel launched (October 28, 2025) Kayma Dead Sea - the new and beautiful hotel, with only 44 rooms, spacious and superbly furnished, which hold the majority. After many months of planning, construction, and anticipation, Kayma Hotel - the most luxurious ever opened in Israel - opened, located in Ein Bokek, on the shores of the Dead Sea, and Isrotel invested NIS 128 million in its establishment and launch. With iconic hotels such as Beresheet, Carmel Forest Spa Resort, Mitzpe Hayamim, and more, Isrotel is the leading and central player in the Exclusive hotel segment. And now - Kayma Dead Sea!
Carefully personalized, intimate and first-of-its-kind hospitality in Israel
Kayma Hotel redefines the concept of luxury hotels in Israel, with an intimate, precise, and different hospitality experience, where every detail has been designed to provide a sense of serenity, intimacy, and a unique connection to the environment, promising every guest a new standard of elite hospitality. Kayma Hotel is the 26th hotel of the Isrotel chain spread throughout the country. It is the chain's 3rd hotel in the Dead Sea and the 4th hotel of the Isrotel chain to open during 2025. Kayma Hotel is the first luxury hotel to open in the Dead Sea area, presenting a new benchmark in the world of tourism.
Kayma Hotel promises a vacation experience that until now was reserved only for select hotels in the world. A unique and personal experience, which meets the guests before they arrive at the hotel, during their stay, and until they arrive back home. The hotel provides a rare and natural space, a personalized, exciting, and meticulous hospitality experience for guests looking for a space of true wealth in inner peace and hospitality at the highest level. The area of the hotel, defined as an intimate and exclusive desert oasis, is approximately 6,000 square meters, and it is located right on the coastline of the Dead Sea, with direct access to the water.
The hotel has 40 rooms and suites designed for couples, some with direct access to the infinity pool. The hotel's public structure, which is its center, includes a reception area, lounge, restaurant, and bar, alongside a spacious terrace overlooking the pool and the Dead Sea landscape. On the second floor is a luxurious presidential suite, with a huge balcony and a private pool. The hotel features a luxurious spa with treatment rooms, a relaxation room, saunas, a hammam, and more, to complete the serene and luxurious experience. Hotel stays are available for children aged 10 and up.
Architectural design inspired by the desert and the sea
The architectural design of Kayma Hotel is considered exceptional in its quality. It is an architectural masterpiece that brings a new level of luxury to the local hospitality culture, drawing inspiration from the colors and textures of the desert and the sea, while incorporating natural materials such as local stone, white plaster, and ecological bamboo wood, creating an authentic connection to the environment alongside a sleek boutique design.
The hotel's public areas include a spacious and luxurious lobby, a gourmet restaurant, and two heated semi-Olympic infinity pools that merge into each other in an elegant transition, creating an endless water line appearance that connects to the ancient landscape of the Dead Sea.
The hospitality experience is complemented by a luxurious spa complex with a variety of treatments, saunas, a Turkish hammam, a jacuzzi, and a gym. The architecture of the hotel is entrusted to the Feigin Architects office, whose vision was to integrate the uniqueness of the Dead Sea and the subject of water as an integral part of the hospitality experience: a magnificent infinity pool stands in the heart of the hotel, and all the suites and public areas face it. The planning concept is inspired by the Beresheet hotel, with design adaptations adapted to the unique character of the Dead Sea and its surroundings.
The hotel was designed as an intimate resort village, consisting of two-story buildings, with eight suites in each building. Each suite has a private entrance, a front balcony facing the center of the hotel, and a rear balcony adjacent to the bathroom, overlooking a private courtyard. The chosen finishing materials maintain a natural and authentic language: local stone, white plaster, and ecological bamboo wood, which integrates
with wooden decks and mashrabiya (decorative and functional partitions that create shading, ventilation, and light filtering, while maintaining privacy), which characterize the facades of the buildings.
A carefully curated and luxurious culinary experience
Chef Amir Kalphon, the culinary manager of the Isrotel chain, is responsible for the culinary experience at the Kayma Hotel. He built the food concept at the Kayma Hotel around the principles of freshness and personal hospitality. The difference is already felt at breakfast, there is no buffet, but rather personal service to the table in an à la carte style. The meal opens with small dishes for the center of the table: breads made from special flours, tahini, roasted eggplant, smoked fish, and local dates from the Jordan Valley area filled with Roquefort cheese. Alongside all of these, cheeses from the Mitzpe Hayamim dairy are served to the table, adding an aroma of local and authentic quality.
From the personal menu you can choose a variety of egg dishes such as Eggs Benedict in the chef's unique version, fried egg, soft omelets or shakshuka from fresh tomatoes and feta cheese. For those who prefer, there are also vegan options. Fresh pastries, homemade jams, halva from Mahane Yehuda, granola and chia seeds are offered at a nearby stand, reflecting the healthy and natural approach of the kitchen. A Home Made meat menu is served at the hotel's pool and beach restaurant: burgers made on the spot, juicy kebabs, homemade schnitzels and fresh salmon tacos.
Lunches and dinners also continue in the same carefully curated culinary line, with a rich dairy menu of fresh fish and handmade pastas in the style of an open kitchen, allowing guests to watch the preparation process. The dishes contain quality olive oil, fresh vegetables, and precise seasoning. Here, no soup powders or flavor enhancers are used, only real and natural raw materials. The general style is Mediterranean Israeli, with subtle touches of global inspiration.
Kayma - Sustainability: Kayma Hotel was planned and designed inspired by the principles of sustainability, in connection with nature and the rare space of freedom, in the special location of the Dead Sea, so that guests can feel and experience a sense of peace, tranquility, privacy, meaning, and enjoyment. The Isrotel chain promotes sustainability measures in all its hotels, and so also at the Kayma Hotel, actions are taken to recycle bottles, cans, and Nespresso capsules, packaged wooden cutlery is served in the food areas in the pools, biodegradable drinking straws and reusable polycarbonate cups are used, as well as wooden spoons at the coffee stations. In addition, green laundry detergents are used.
Haim Katz - Minister of Tourism: congratulated the Isrotel chain on the hotel's launch and said: "The sustainable tourism that Israel has developed is recognized all over the world and many countries ask to learn about our success in the field. Kayma Hotel brings with it a message of innovation, sustainability and international standards of luxury hospitality. This is a significant strengthening of the status of the Dead Sea region as an attractive tourist destination, and I congratulate the Isrotel chain on the investment, vision and impressive execution. We will continue to work to expand the supply of hotel rooms, encourage entrepreneurship and develop quality infrastructure, which will improve the tourist experience, encourage tourism and contribute to the economy."
Lior Raviv - CEO of Isrotel Hotels Chain: "Kayma Hotel redefines the concept of 'luxury hotel' and sets a new and very high standard in the Israeli tourism world. Kayma stands alongside the most luxurious hotels in the world, and with its opening, the Isrotel chain is implementing its vision and promise to deepen its activity in Israel and lead the local tourism industry to new heights. Kayma Hotel brings with it the news of elite hospitality with new standards of meticulous and uncompromising personal service. The hospitality experience that awaits the guests is unique and unprecedented in Israel, and we are very proud to be pioneers in this field in the Israeli hotel industry."
