Returning to the halls... Tel Aviv Cinematheque has returned to normal and full activity, inviting the public to return to the cinema halls and the shared viewing experience on the big screen. The screening schedule is updated regularly on the Cinematheque website, according to the weekly program.

The return to full activity allows for the re-expansion of the film selection and the presentation of a rich range of international and Israeli cinema, classics, contemporary films, award-winning works, and films for the whole family, in addition to the "Movie Plus" program—a lecture plus a screening.

Among the films to be screened:

* Our Madness: Screening + Lecture by Dr. Yael Doron - A romantic comedy by Paolo Genovese, set during a first date and revealing the characters' inner voices. Before the screening, there will be a lecture by Dr. Yael Doron, a rehabilitative psychologist and group analyst, on the emotional dynamics and inner voices that shape relationships. Duration of the event: approximately two and a half hours.

* Cologne 75: Screening + Lecture - A film about the story of Keith Jarrett's legendary concert in Cologne, accompanied by a lecture by Roni Wertheimer on the journey of Jazz from the USA to Europe and its cultural impact. Duration of the event: approximately two and a half hours.

* Moving: A key work by Japanese director Shinji Sōmai, returning to the screen in a restored version after being presented at the Venice Film Festival. A sensitive drama about a girl coping with a family breakdown, combining realism with a poetic and surreal gaze.

* Love on Trial: An intimate drama by Koji Fukada, dealing with the personal price of fame in the Japanese pop world, as a romantic relationship becomes a contractual violation and a struggle for freedom.

* Maigret: Everyone is a Suspect - A classic French murder mystery, where a seemingly simple investigation reveals a complex web of secrets, loyalties, and repressed emotions.

* That Summer in Paris: A delicate and moving debut film screened at the Berlin Film Festival, about a woman who arrives in Paris during the Olympics and tries to mend family ties while on a personal journey in a foreign city.

* The Sun Shines on Everyone: An award-winning Chinese drama from the Venice Film Festival, dealing with love, guilt, and missed opportunities through a reunion between two lovers after years of separation.

* The Illusion of Yakushima: A film by Naomi Kawase, combining personal drama with themes of disappearance, loss, and culture, as a woman is forced to deal simultaneously with a struggle to save a life and personal loss.

* A Few Notes on the Situation: An Israeli work by Eran Kolirin, composed of six short stories that together create a tragicomic look at human existence in complex times.

* Devil in a Blue Dress: A modern film noir classic from the 90s, set in 1940s Los Angeles, featuring a Black detective navigating a complex system of politics, race, and crime.
