A regional wine fair by the 'Beit HaKerem Cluster' will take place at Pelech Winery, where 8 boutique wineries from the cluster's settlements will present a rich regional wine mosaic in one place as part of the "Ba Li Galil" Festival, during the holiday of harvest, wine, and cheese.

During a complex period for the North, and out of a desire to bring tourism and life back to the region and strengthen local businesses, the "Ba Li Galil" (I Feel Like the Galilee) festival, which has become a tradition in the Beit HaKerem Cluster, is taking place. This year, for the first time, the 'First Wine Fair' will be held on the eve of the holiday, serving as one of the festival's flagship events. The host winery, Pelech Winery, will host alongside it the wineries of the region: Lotem Winery, Stern Winery, Harashim Winery, Kishor Winery, Segev Winery, Rai Winery, and Lahat Winery. Together, they present a rich regional wine mosaic, part of it from a terroir recognized as a wine-growing region in the Upper Western Galilee.

During the event: Visitors will be able to purchase a branded wine glass at the entrance for 50 NIS and enjoy free tastings of a variety of wines, meet the winemakers, hear their stories, and be exposed to the unique character of local wine. Alongside the wine, participants will enjoy live music, local Galilean food, and a festive atmosphere in one of the region's most beautiful locations.

GVINAGE Dairy and Cheeses: As part of the fair, GVINAGE Dairy will also participate—an artisanal cheese house from the Upper Galilee established by Naomi and Yedidia Richard Stein. Naomi, who grew up in the heart of the Alps' cheese region, is one of 37 certified cheese masters in the world, and together with Yedidia, brought the knowledge and love of cheese to the Galilee. The dairy combines international knowledge from the world of cheese with local production and sustainability, alongside unique social activity at Rome Farm, which serves as an occupational rehabilitation center. Visitors can taste unique boutique cheeses aged on-site and learn the story behind them.

A Shared Platform: The event serves as a shared platform for local wineries and producers, allowing a direct connection between the public and high-quality Galilean creation, out of a desire to continue developing regional wine culture and strengthening the local economy.

Raz Tischler, CEO of the Beit HaKerem Cluster: "The wine fair is an opportunity to meet the people behind the bottle and the story of the Galilee through wine. In this period, every such visit is a real reinforcement for local producers and the continuity of life in the North. We invite the public to come, taste, and be part of the regional creation."

Ba Li Galil Festival: Over four days, between May 20th and 23rd, wineries, dairies, home kitchens, nature sites, and cultural complexes will open to the general public, offering an unmediated encounter with the people, flavors, and stories of the Central Galilee.

Wine Fair: Thursday, Shavuot Eve, May 21st, between 12:00-17:00, Pelech Winery.

Cost: 50 NIS for a branded wine glass and tastings.

The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.
