A Decade of the "Ramla World City" Festival

The "Ramla World City" festival, one of the events most identified with the city of Ramla, marks its tenth anniversary this year. The festival will take place on September 29-30, 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Ministry of Tourism, and Mifal HaPayis, turning all of Ramla into a major urban celebration of music, culture, culinary arts, tourism, and entertainment for the whole family.

For two days, performances by Israel's top artists, children's shows, community performances, parades and street shows, activity zones and attractions, sports and water zones, gaming and multimedia, an amusement park, Ninja obstacle courses, ice skating, culinary zones, and more will be held throughout the city. Among the artists performing at the festival: Noa Kirel, Mah Kashur, Stephane Legar, Regev Hod, Eyal Levy, Michal HaKtanah, Manny Mamtara, Maya Papaya, Babuia, Like Queen, Nancy Brandes, and more.

To celebrate the decade, 10 activity centers will operate throughout the city, in addition to tours of Ramla's tourist sites. A wide range of activities will allow visitors to arrive during the day, spend time with their families, and continue to the main performances in the evening.

* The Main Stage at the White Tower:

The main stage of the decade festival will be established at the White Tower plaza, one of Ramla's most recognizable symbols, and will host a series of artists and shows for the whole family over two evenings.

On September 29, stage events will open at 4:00 PM with a festive multicultural parade, followed by a performance by Michal HaKtanah, alongside an original show by children's star Babuia together with dance troupes. Additionally, Maya Papaya will perform. At 8:45 PM, Eyal Levy will take the stage, at 9:30 PM Noa Kirel will perform, and at 10:45 PM the evening will conclude with a performance by Like Queen.

On September 30, the evening will open at 5:00 PM with the show "Autumn in All Kinds of Colors," and at 6:00 PM Manny Mamtara will take the stage. At 8:45 PM, Stephane will perform, at 9:30 PM Mah Kashur will take the stage, and at 10:45 PM Regev Hod will close the decade evening.

Admission to the main performances: only 30 NIS.

* "The White Tower Awakens," a special original show marking the festival's decade:

On the occasion of the festival's decade, "The White Tower Awakens" will take place on September 29 at 8:00 PM at the White Tower plaza—an original show created specifically to mark the ten years of "Ramla World City."

As part of the show, the White Tower will become a live stage in a spectacular audiovisual performance, including laser beams, live music, saxophone, and trumpet. The show tells the story of Ramla: Ten years of festival, a thousand years of history, and one unforgettable moment.

* Activity Zones and Attractions Throughout Ramla:

Alongside the main stage, a wide variety of zones will operate throughout the city, offering activities for children, youth, and families during the day.

Food Zone - Will operate at the White Tower plaza from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM and will include food trucks and food stalls, so visitors can combine the shows with a culinary experience.

"World City" Community Exhibition - Will be presented in the lobby of the Cultural Center and will integrate performances from the diverse cultures of the city of Ramla. The zone will operate between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and entry is free.

On the lawn of the Cultural Center, at the Rambal Plaza, and in various city neighborhoods, children's zones, inflatables, and attractions will operate, alongside a children's amusement park, offering a variety of activities and entertainment for families.

In the public space, a "Street in Motion" will also operate with street characters, human statues, stilt walkers, jugglers, and other attractions that will make the streets an integral part of the festival experience. The zone will operate on Dani Mas Boulevard, and field performances will take place along the street.

In the Aryeh Davidesco Sports Hall, an ice skating rink will operate, and in the Neot Shamir neighborhood, at Moshehal Shlomo Park, a unique sports and water attractions zone will operate. On September 30, an additional sports and water attractions zone will operate in the Neve David neighborhood, at Ilanot Park.

In the Kiryat HaAmanim neighborhood, at Arik Einstein Park, a gamers and multimedia zone will operate.

Creativity enthusiasts can enjoy unique Lego zones. On September 29 at the Cultural Center lawn and on September 30 in the Neot Begin neighborhood, at Brill Garden.

As part of the festival, a 3D cinema zone will also operate at the Cultural Center lawn, alongside the children's amusement park.

Challenge enthusiasts can enjoy a unique Ninja zone, including a 100-meter course, which will operate at Ofer Park, as well as a smaller Ninja zone that will operate on September 30 at the Pais Center in the Giora neighborhood.

Most zones will operate between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM, so visitors can arrive during the day, enjoy a variety of activities and attractions, and then proceed to the main performances.

* A Celebration of Communities and Cultures:

One of the central features of "Ramla World City" over the years is the ability to bring the different communities and cultures that make up the city to a single stage. As part of the decade events, dedicated shows for various communities will take place.

On September 28, a performance for the Arab community—Snow White—will take place at the Cultural Center, a cultural show intended for Arab society. Simultaneously, a Russian and Israeli culture evening will take place at Eshkol HaPayis in collaboration with KKL and the Ramla Municipality, including music, culture, Zionism, and shared identity, alongside a performance by MIO SOLE O and the Belcanto Quartet.

On September 29, a special show for the city's veterans will take place at the Cultural Center featuring Nancy Brandes, as part of 50th-anniversary celebrations in Israel, with the musical show "The Flowers in My Garden," a funny and moving musical entertainment show.

In the evening, the show "His Name was Joe" will take place, where Lior Elmaliach and Gusto sing Joe Amar's songs, in a meeting between musicians who grew up on his music, each taking it in their own musical direction.

On September 30, at the World City Sukkah in the entrance plaza of the Cultural Center, a celebration of Greek culture will take place. The Mayor's Sukkah will transform into a space of Greek music, flavors, and atmosphere, in a colorful original production featuring bouzouki player Tobi Azoumi, who will take the audience on a musical journey through the best-loved Greek hits. Entry is free.

The community events express the unique character of Ramla, a city where members of different communities, cultures, and traditions live side by side, making the festival a celebration of a diverse Israeli mosaic.

* Ramla as a Tourist Destination:

The decade festival does not settle for just shows and attractions; it invites visitors to get to know Ramla as a tourist destination.

During the festival days, guided tours of the city's tourist sites will take place, allowing visitors to experience Ramla's history and heritage and combine their festival outing with a visit to its unique sites.

Alongside walking tours, there will also be double-decker bus tours, allowing visitors to experience the city and discover its main tourist centers and points of interest.

Visitors can also integrate visits to major tourist sites during their stay, including the Pool of Arches—where you can row boats in the approximately 1,200-year-old underground pool; climbing the White Tower—to look out over the city and the surrounding area; the Ramla Museum—which features the talked-about exhibition of Uri Geller; and the Truck Museum, alongside other sites expressing the city's rich and multicultural history.

* Also Tasting Ramla - A Culinary Tour of the Market:

Alongside the tourist sites and city tours, a culinary tour of the Ramla Market will take place during the festival, including six satisfying and kosher tastings, accompanied by a professional guide. During the tour, participants will be exposed to the story of the centuries-old market, unique charm points, and the stories behind the place, including a British mailbox that arrived from London. The tour departs from the Ramla Museum at 1:30 PM, lasts about an hour, and is intended for those who arrive hungry.
