Movies for only 10 NIS: International Cinema Day is back!
Tomorrow, Thursday, October 30th, is International Cinema Day, its 11th year, during which all tickets will be sold in dozens of cinemas throughout the country at special prices: 10 NIS for a regular movie, VIP tickets at special prices at the box office only, special prices for movies screened in SCREEN-X, IMAX, 4DX halls and internet ticket prices according to the rates of the various networks.
Unlike Israeli Cinema Day, which was celebrated in September, which screened only Israeli films, this week's Cinema Day will feature all the Hollywood, Israeli and foreign films currently being screened, including: "Race for Glory: Audie & Buster", "Begonia", "Fool Me Once", "The Black Phone 2", "Lift", "Let Shuly Sun Go", "Tom and Jerry and the Lost Compass", "Land of Bad", "Arthur the King", the anime film "CHAINSAW MAN", "Gabby's Dollhouse The Movie", "Open Relationships", "Buzaglos – The Battle for the Inheritance", "High Expectation", "Tron: Ares", “Open Relationships", "Dipo in Wonderland", "Point Break" and many other new movies.
The purpose of the initiative is to share the cinematic celebration of the Cinema Industry Association in Israel with the public, and all cinema chains in Israel are participating in the promotion, a total of 44 cinemas and approximately 420 screens, members of the Cinema Industry Association throughout the country, including the "Planet", "Cinema City", "HOT CINEMA", "Lev Cinemas", "Rav-Hen", "Movieland" networks and the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, "Premium Cinema Ashkelon", "Beit Gavriel Zemach", "Cinema Eilat" and all cinemas that wish to do so.
Cinema Day Validity: Thursday 30/10, at all hours of the day, according to the screening schedule, when some cinemas will operate in a special holiday format, from 10:00 in the morning until the late hours of the night.
Last year's 10 shekel Cinema Day was attended by over 190,000 people across the country. Danny Kafri, CEO of the Cinema Industry Association in Israel: "Cinema Day is taking place for the eleventh year. The tremendous success of previous Cinema Days has made it clear to us that there is a public and great demand for cinema consumption in Israel." Kafri added: "This day, which has become a tradition, allows the public to come and celebrate cinema, in cinemas, for a symbolic sum."
