A magical theatrical journey for the whole family will take place in Mishkenot Sha'ananim in Jerusalem during the intermediate days of Sukkot. Admission is free.

A free and particularly enjoyable activity will take place during the intermediate days of Sukkot at Montefiore's Windmill in Jerusalem.


What: The windmill in Mishkenot Sha'ananim, built in 1857 at the initiative of Sir Moses Montefiore, and renovated by the Jerusalem Foundation, was the symbol of the first economic independence of the city's residents outside the walls of the Old City.


Join a magical theatrical tour, where we will peek into the mill itself, meet Montefiore's wagon, walk through the alleys of Mishkenot Sha'ananim, and experience the history of Jerusalem in a humorous, imaginative, and magical way - all against a breathtaking view of the Old City walls.


When: Sunday, October 12, 2025 (20th of Tishrei). Tours will depart every full hour: 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00.
