Bank Leumi will fund stays at Fattal hotels for seniors aged 80 and over who do not have access to a protected space, providing them with a safe and accessible environment.

Following Operation "Lion's Roar" in Iran, Bank Leumi has announced a significant social initiative for senior citizens—those aged 80 and over—who do not have an accessible protected space in their homes or whose homes have been damaged: the "Safe Place" national project, in collaboration with the Fattal Hotel Group.

As part of the initiative, Bank Leumi will fund stays in approximately 1,000 rooms at Fattal hotels across the country, where seniors can stay for about a week free of charge. Registrants will be able to choose a hotel in their preferred location nationwide and enjoy full hospitality in a single or double room on a half-board basis, among other amenities. All offered hotels have a protected space. Registration for the initiative opened today, Tuesday, at 8:00 AM on the Leumi website for customers of all banks.

This initiative joins a series of other social projects led by Bank Leumi since October 7. For example, during Operation "Am Ke-Lavi" (Like a Lion) against Iran, Leumi joined the effort to bring Israelis back to the country by chartering a rescue ship that returned approximately 1,500 people who were stranded abroad.

Since October 7, the Fattal Hotel Group has also played a significant role in the national effort, including hosting over 20,000 evacuees at the chain's hotels across Israel, hosting public diplomacy delegations in its hotels abroad, hosting soldiers and security forces, and many other aid initiatives.

Meital Shiran Harel, Chief Marketing Officer of Bank Leumi: "In these complex days of significant security tension, we believe that no one should be left behind. Therefore, we decided to launch an initiative that cares for the elderly population and provides them with a sense of security. This is our moment to be there for them."

Maya Shalev, CMO and Sales of the Fattal Hotel Group: "Fattal Hotels is proud to take part in the 'Safe Place' project together with Bank Leumi, and to provide seniors with rooms featuring accessible protected spaces in the chain's hotels across the country. Social responsibility is part of Fattal's DNA, and we see great importance in our ability to provide guests in need with a safe and respectful hospitality environment."
