Sharing Hope and Light: Evening Visits at the Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa
The Bahá’í Night event offers an opportunity to share hope and light. The evening visits to the Bahá’í Holy Place are granted as a gift to the general public, as an opportunity to enjoy peace, beauty, and spirituality. The Bahá’í World Center invites the general public to evening visits to the Shrine of the Báb and the Holy Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa, on October 8 and 9, 2025.
Guests are invited to visit the Bahá’í Holy Place, including the Shrine of the Báb and the terraced gardens, watch a short film and exhibit at the Visitors Center, participate in an artistic activity, and enjoy the beauty of the place.
The first Bahá’í Night event was held in 2019, when the Bahá’í World Center invited the public to visit the Shrine of the Báb and the Holy Bahá’í Gardens in the evening, to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Báb. Bahá’í volunteers from around the world and local guides welcomed thousands of visitors.
The Báb - the Forerunner Prophet of the Bahá’í Faith - brought to humanity a religious doctrine about the renewed spiritual awakening of humanity, towards the great day of unity and peace. The Báb is buried in the golden-domed Shrine on Mount Carmel, adorned with 18 royal terraces that give beauty and splendor to the holy place. The Shrine of the Báb and the terraced gardens are a holy Bahá’í site, a unique Haifa landmark that hosts visitors who gather there together from all walks of life.
In addition, the Shrine and Gardens are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and they are a symbol and reminder of hope and unity. The body that heads the Bahá’í Faith, the Universal House of Justice, wrote: "The beauty and splendor of the Bahá’í terraces and gardens symbolize the nature of the change that is destined to take place within the hearts of human beings and in the physical environment of the planet."
This year too, Bahá’í volunteers and local guides are waiting to welcome guests who will come to visit the Shrine of the Báb and the Holy Bahá’í Gardens in the evening.
Entrance gate: Main entrance, 80 HaZiyonut Blvd. German Colony Square, 21 HaGefen St.
Admission is free and no pre-registration is required.
