The 'Ad 120' Chain Launches a Luxury Longevity Residential Complex in Modi'in
The 'Ad 120' chain, one of Israel's leading retirement home chains, launched its new home in Modi'in—a luxury Longevity residential complex and the first of its kind in Israel—with an investment of approximately 600 million NIS. The new complex is located in the city center neighborhood of Modi'in and includes a wide variety of 2-room, 2.5-room, and 3-room apartments. All apartments in the project include balconies, and residents are also offered private parking and storage rooms.
Ad 120 Modi'in is based on the Longevity concept led by the chain, which emphasizes six key dimensions that together strengthen the human body, mind, and soul. A personalized work plan is built for each resident to support every system: MOVEMENT (strengthening the body and motion), MIND (strengthening thinking and cognition), NUTRITION (personalized nutrition and vitality), MEANING (content and significance), WELLNESS (balance and well-being), and CONNECTION (rich social and community life). At the heart of the new complex in Modi'in operates a Longevity center, the first of its kind in Israel for seniors, offering residents a broad professional envelope under the supervision and guidance of leading professionals.
The Longevity center at Ad 120 Modi'in includes, among other things, a cognitive training studio, personalized nutrition programs, an AI-based gym, a heated indoor semi-Olympic pool, a jacuzzi, a Pilates equipment studio, a music studio, a ballroom dancing studio, a movement and dance studio, yoga, Feldenkrais, water activities, and more. Each resident in the complex will enjoy a personal Longevity program tailored to their needs. In addition, the new Ad 120 complex in Modi'in includes a restaurant and bakery, a sports and spa center, a Rooftop and residents' lounge, community gardens, a clinic, a physical therapy institute, commercial areas, a synagogue, and diverse community spaces.
The culinary advisor for Ad 120 Modi'in, who will design the menu for the restaurants in the luxury complex, is the leading chef Shahaf Shabtay, chef of the 'Pop & Pope' restaurant in Tel Aviv and chef of the Israeli airline Arkia, who holds an extensive resume leading luxury restaurants around the world. Ad 120 Modi'in also emphasizes the integration of advanced technology as part of improving the residents' quality of life. At the entrance to the home, a digital and media center was established, allowing residents to experience innovative digital tools, enrich their world, maintain continuous contact with family and friends, and stay connected and updated.
The complex was planned and designed inspired by the biophilic philosophy, which emphasizes the connection between humans and nature. The design includes extensive use of natural light, organic materials, open spaces, green vegetation, and a connection between the interior and exterior. Among the green spaces in the home, one can find an orange orchard on the first floor, a vineyard on the second floor, a flower garden on the 8th-floor balcony, a lemon orchard on the 9th floor, and a spice flower garden. The complex's location in the city center neighborhood of Modi'in allows residents to enjoy proximity to Anaba Park, the Azrieli Mall, the train station, and entertainment, culture, and leisure centers.
Tomer Rosenberg, CEO of the 'Ad 120' chain: "We are proud and excited to open Ad 120 Modi'in, the chain's fifth complex and our flagship project in the field of Longevity living in Israel. This is a mega-project that brings a new residential standard to seniors in Modi'in and the surrounding area—a combination of high-level designed apartments, a luxury environment, an active community, and a professional Longevity center providing a broad envelope for strengthening the body, mind, and soul. Alongside the opening of the home in Modi'in, we are building the chain's new home in Kiryat Motzkin and continue to expand our activities to additional areas, out of the belief that every city in Israel needs quality, advanced senior housing adapted to the new generation of seniors."
About the 'Ad 120' Chain: The 'Ad 120' chain was established in 1992 and currently operates five retirement homes: Modi'in, Ramat HaChayal Tel Aviv, Hod Hasharon, Rishon LeZion, and Kfar Saba. Another home for the chain is under construction in Kiryat Motzkin, with further expansion planned for cities including Ness Ziona, Jerusalem, and Kiryat Ono. The chain, owned by the Shapir Engineering and Phoenix groups, operates with a vision to allow seniors to enjoy a high-quality, modern, and rich living experience, alongside medical security, leisure culture, an active community, and a comprehensive service envelope that promotes successful longevity and a high quality of life.
