Walt Disney Studios Park has changed its name to Disney Adventure World, the second park to undergo a comprehensive renovation, featuring 'Frozen' and a host of new experiences.

Yesterday, Sunday, March 29, 2026, Disneyland® Paris marked a new chapter in its history with the renaming of its second park to Disney Adventure World. The celebratory event was attended by Josh D'Amaro, Chairman of Walt Disney World Company, media representatives from around the world, and other senior officials. The highlight of the ceremony was a spectacular performance by the singer Santa, alongside 10-year-old Lou, whose wish, fulfilled in collaboration with Make-A-Wish France, marked the 25,000th wish granted to a child at Disneyland Paris since 1992.

On Friday, March 27, 2026, an official event was held at Disneyland Paris with public officials and the management of The Walt Disney Company, emphasizing its significant contribution to tourism in France and Europe. Data shows that it is the leading tourist destination in Europe, with 445 million visits since its opening in 1992, accounting for about 6.1% of France's tourism revenue. The €2 billion investment, announced in 2018 for Disney Adventure World, led to the recruitment of over 1,000 new team members and collaboration with about 400 suppliers.

Saturday, March 28, 2026, marked another milestone with the official inauguration of Disney Adventure World in a festive event in partnership with Visa. The ceremony combined official speeches with colorful artistic performances celebrating beloved Disney stories through music and dance. During the ceremony, Disney executives shared their vision for this historic milestone. Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland® Paris, stated: "With Disney Adventure World, we are not just unveiling the second park of Disneyland Paris – we are opening the door to a new era, where guests step directly into the heart of the stories they love."

"We continue to expand Disneyland Paris with a long-term vision. The renewal of the second park reflects everything Disney stands for – boundless imagination that connects people," said Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences. Josh D'Amaro, Chairman of The Walt Disney Company, added: "Walt Disney believed in the power of great stories – and that belief continues to drive us today. World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World are further examples of how we continue to dream big and bring our stories to life in new ways."

Ahead of the opening, select guests received an exclusive preview of the upcoming innovations at Disney Adventure World. Among them were Tia Taylor, who recently won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz, esteemed French actor and director Louis Garrel, and football legend Andrés Iniesta, who also enjoyed a first look at the experience.
