Just in time for the cold evenings: a delicious recipe that brings back the desire for warm soups that comfort the body and soul

There's nothing like the winter weather, which brings back the desire for warm soups that comfort the body and soul. Corn soup is one of the most beloved soups, thanks to its natural sweetness, pleasant texture, and the possibility of preparing it quickly.


The Soltam brand presents a homemade, accurate, and easy-to-prepare version, based on sweet corn, basic vegetables, and subtle seasoning that provides depth and perfect taste. It's a soup that warms the heart and fills the house with a homely smell that's irresistible.


Ingredients: 1 large white onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 carrots, cut into small cubes 2 medium potatoes, cut into cubes 2 cups frozen or canned corn kernels 1 can of creamed corn 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth 1 cup cooking cream or coconut milkA little oilSalt and white pepper to tasteA handful of chopped chives or parsley for serving


Instructions:In a wide pot, heat a little oil and sauté the onion until translucent.Add the garlic, carrots, and potatoes and sauté for another 3 minutes.Add the corn kernels and the creamed corn, stir, and cover with broth.Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until the potatoes are soft.Season with salt and white pepper.Blend with an immersion blender until a smooth texture is achieved.Add the cream or coconut milk, stir, and cook for another 3 minutes.Adjust seasoning if needed.


For serving, you can sprinkle chopped chives, a few whole corn kernels, or croutons.
