Fun activities for the whole family on Hanukkah at the Underwater Observatory Park in Eilat.
This Hanukkah, we’ll spend the holiday in the magical company of sea creatures at the Underwater Observatory Park in Eilat, which offers, during the Festival of Lights, a wide array of light-themed activities and many exciting, surprising experiences.
Every day, a diver will light a menorah made of lamps inside the shark pool, and unique guided tours will be held about the fascinating deep-sea creatures that glow in the dark to attract fish, the underwater food chain, and the luminous corals that reflect light in mesmerizing colors.
In addition, there will be an original family theater show, a workshop for painting river stones with holiday motifs and adding them to the “Wishing Tower,” and guided feeding sessions at the one-of-a-kind Underwater Observatory — in the Shark World visitor center, the rare fish exhibit, the sea turtle pool, and more.
The visit includes admission to a new, immersive 3D panoramic film that places you right in the middle of an unforgettable diving experience — face to face with enormous whales in the ocean depths. During the holiday, there will also be a play area and outdoor games for children, as well as face painting stations. Families can book a behind-the-scenes tour of the observatory, take a cruise on the Coral 2000 glass-bottom boat, or even book a personal dive in the shark pool (for certified divers).
A family that takes a photo at the entrance photo booth can return to the park on the following two days — free of charge!
Admission for a three-day pass, including the film: ₪129 for adults, ₪109 for children aged 3 and up. Admission is free for children under age 3. Special discounts are available through customer clubs.
