The 67th Cities Cruise took place with the participation of hundreds of sailors from the Ashkelon, Herzliya, and Haifa marinas, continuing the tradition in the sailing industry in Israel.

This year's 67th Cities Cruise was dedicated to the memory of Noa Englander, of blessed memory, who was murdered at the Nova party along with her partner Noam. The Englander family and the sailing community accompanied the event in a spirit of remembrance, unity, and continuity. About 300 sailors from all over the country - from the Ashkelon, Herzliya, and Haifa marinas - took part in the cruise, continuing the tradition in the sailing industry in Israel.

The event opened at the Ashkelon Marina, where a festive reception was held for the participating boats, and the next day the boats set out for the first leg from Ashkelon to Herzliya. The highlight of the event took place at the Herzliya Marina, which included an awards ceremony for the winners of the first part, with the participation of city representatives, sailors, and the Englander family. Immediately afterward, the boats set off for the second and final part, from Herzliya to Haifa.

According to Dana Oren Yanai, Deputy Mayor of Herzliya and Chairperson of the Herzliya Tourism Development Company: "The Cities Cruise is much more than a maritime competition. It is a bridge of memory, community and mutual responsibility, which connects not only marinas but also generations. It is a great pride for Herzliya to host the sailors and encourage young people to join this amazing maritime culture. This year it was especially moving to see the sailors united around a message of continuity and commemoration, and we look forward to continuing this joint tradition in the years to come."

The event concluded with a festive closing ceremony in Haifa, which took place in Kishon Park in the presence of the mayor and the organizers. The Cities Cruise is considered a unique tradition in the Israeli sailing industry, and it has already been announced that the next cruise in 2026 will take place in the opposite direction - from north to south, from Haifa to Ashkelon.
