Halloween at the Travelers Village on the Jordan Hotel
The Halloween celebration at the Travelers Hotel on the Jordan, part of the Travelers Hotels chain, was a spectacular, colorful, and immersive success. We turned the hotel into a celebration zone like those abroad, and the reactions were enthusiastic.
In fact, we were among the only hotels in the country, and perhaps even the only one, to host a Halloween event of this scale! We are proud of the team for their initiative, creativity, and successful production.
Just like abroad, but "blue and white" (Israeli): Who said you need to fly to foreign countries to celebrate Halloween? During the last weekend of October (Oct 29-31), the Travelers Village on the Jordan Hotel transformed into a little Halloween kingdom as part of the one-year anniversary celebrations for the Travelers Hotels' XTRA MILE community.
The concept was called "Trick or Trek - All Travelers' Eve", taking one of Halloween's most iconic traditions—door-to-door candy searching—and bringing it right into the hotel. After the candy trek between rooms, costumes, and surprises, another surprise awaited the families: an enchanted lantern tour, taking participants on a nocturnal journey through nature with a mysterious atmosphere and surprises along the way. And of course, there is no Halloween without costumes! Families and children arrived in their most creative costumes, and those that stole the show won prizes.
Ortal Leibovitz, XTRA MILE Community Manager at the Travelers Hotels chain: "The XTRA MILE community was established out of a desire to listen to our guests and create experiences tailored to them. Leading up to the one-year celebrations, we asked our community members what they wanted their XTRA vacation to look like, and they requested a different kind of family experience, full of content, games, and adventure. From that, 'Trick or Trek - All Travelers' Eve' was born—our connection between Halloween and the world of costumes and tricks, and what we love most: nature, hiking, and quality family time."
