Enjoy the Upgrade: The Platinum Floor of Kanyon HaZahav in Rishon LeZion

There is exciting news in the consumer world: Kanyon HaZahav (the Gold Mall) in Rishon LeZion is launching a new floor in the summer of 2026, with an investment of approximately 100 million NIS. The new Platinum Floor at Kanyon HaZahav spans 12,000 square meters and will include 30 stores, including international anchor stores and flagship stores over large areas with advanced retail concepts, as well as a 1,800-square-meter designer stall area featuring 12 stalls.


Kanyon HaZahav: Established in 1993 by the Moshe and Yigal Gindi company, it spans 110,000 square meters, houses about 400 businesses including local and international chains, and is one of the top five leading malls in Israel. The mall offers 2,500 parking spaces for visitors. The daily number of visitors is approximately 25,000, coming from across the region and the country. During holiday seasons, the number of visitors reaches 40,000 people per day.


Tal Gindi, co-owner of Kanyon HaZahav: "There are moments you dream about for years, and then they suddenly happen for real. The Platinum Floor is exactly such a moment for us. We wanted to create a place that makes people feel that something new is happening here—a place with a different energy, a different shopping experience, and brands everyone is waiting for. Seeing it all come together, from the design to the new stores, is very exciting for us. We are already looking forward to opening the doors and seeing the public enjoy everything we have created."


The new Platinum Floor: Designed with an emphasis on aesthetic and functional appearance, it integrates seamlessly with the entire mall. The decision to establish the Platinum Floor stemmed from the demand for additional large commercial spaces in the mall and is planned to be an attractive draw with flagship stores, restaurants, and new brands in Israel.


Among the new stores opening on the Platinum Floor: Victoria's Secret, Adidas, Itay Brands, Shoofra, Parfois, Factory Candle, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Soho, Happy Lemon, Toys "R" Us, and Glam 42. Alongside these chains, new stores from leading international brands are expected to open on the floor, which will be revealed at a later date.


Alongside the construction of the new Platinum Floor: A project to upgrade commercial areas has recently begun at the mall with an investment of approximately 55 million NIS. This move is intended to strengthen the mall's status and renew the appearance of stores and public spaces. Furthermore, a renovation and upgrade of the mall's facades are currently underway, featuring modern designs that highlight the mall's unique character, large digital screens, outdoor development including manicured gardens, cafes, pleasant seating areas, and lighting system upgrades—all to provide a pleasant visiting experience. Approximately 15 million NIS was invested in this effort.
