Leading Up to Israeli Space Week, a Special Event Will Be Held at Ofer Hadera Mall. Families Are Invited

The event is dedicated to the worlds of space, science, and inspiration for the younger generation, and in memory of the first Israeli astronaut, Ilan Ramon. It will be held in cooperation with the Hadera Municipality and the City Leisure Association. All activities are open to the general public – free of charge.

This is the 15th consecutive year that Israeli Space Week is held in memory of the first Israeli astronaut, **Ilan Ramon z"l** (of blessed memory), and this year it takes place between January 25th and 30th. In his honor, a special event for the general public will be held at **Ofer Hadera Mall** on January 21st. The event is held in cooperation with the Hadera Municipality and the Pnai Ha'Ir Association, and will be dedicated to the worlds of space, science, and inspiration for the younger generation.


The event will feature a variety of experiential activities for the whole family, space-themed creative workshops, music workshops, appearances by beloved characters from the world of space, experiential complexes, and educational activities and content. Furthermore, as part of Israeli Space Week, the event will include, among other things: a special station in memory of **Ilan Ramon,** alongside creative workshops, a space photography complex, a space show/party, and other relevant content and activities.

Israeli Space Week takes place annually in memory of the first Israeli astronaut, Col. Ilan Ramon z”l, who perished in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster along with the STS mission crew. The week is dedicated to making the world of space, science, and technology accessible to the wider public, and to encouraging curiosity, inspiration, and dreams among children and teenagers.


The event is open to the general public and admission is free!


It will take place on January 21st between 17:00 and 19:00.
