Robinson Crusoe, the classic book by Daniel Defoe, has been adapted at the Mediatheque Theater in Holon into a sweeping and humorous musical children's play. The story of Robinson, an English nobleman whose ship is wrecked, leaving him alone on a deserted island with a surprising friend. The play is suitable for ages 5–10.

The play unfolds the story of Robinson Crusoe, an English nobleman whose ship is wrecked, leaving him alone on a deserted island, dreaming of becoming a famous adventurer. His life changes when Friday appears—a stranger who does not speak his language. The gaps between the two lead to conflicts and misunderstandings, but gradually, they learn to listen, cooperate, and understand one another.

The budding friendship between them is put to the test as the two embark on a joint journey to find a way to leave the island. During this journey, they are required to show courage, trust, and determination—and they discover that true friendship is the greatest treasure of all, and that the greatest adventure is sometimes the one that happens between people.

The play offers a rich theatrical experience, including original music, colorful scenery, and lively characters, alongside messages of accepting the other, communication, and cooperation.
