Motorsport: Sports Event During Hanukkah for Young People
The world of racing belongs to the young: The Israeli Motorsport Association, the Arad Municipality, and Prodrive continue to strengthen the field of motorsport in Israel and announce a Gymkhana car race for ages 14 and up, on the Arad race track.
As part of this, a Hanukkah event will be held on Thursday, December 19th, at the Arad race track, intended for teenagers aged 14 and up. The event will be open to the general public and will include a practical introduction to the world of Gymkhana, along with professional guidance from the best drivers in Israel. Participants aged 14 and over will be able to get on the big track and experience real sports driving.
The association notes that during 2025, dozens of teenagers aged 14 participated in the track, some of whom obtained a sports license and even took part in Israeli championship races. The Arad Municipality states that it aspires to expand the field of motorsport for young people, and as part of the future plan, the opening of an official youth category is planned for the 2026 season.
The management of the Motorsport Association stated: "The early and controlled exposure of young people to the world of sports driving is key to the growth of Israel's next generation of drivers. Events like these in Arad allow them to experiment, learn and grow within a safe and professional framework. We are already seeing the results today - young people who started in Gymkhana and are progressing to sports licenses and professional races have also succeeded in international competitions. The goal of initiatives of this type by the association is to continue to develop the industry and make it accessible to the younger generation, while maintaining safety, professionalism and sports values."
The Gymkhana branch is now considered one of the most accessible, safe and cost-effective ways to enter the world of motorsport in Israel. It allows any driver with a valid vehicle to experience sports driving, improve vehicle control skills and compete within a professional framework, and at significantly lower costs compared to other motorsport branches. Thanks to regulated tracks, professional guidance and strict safety conditions, Gymkhana has become a leading choice for anyone who wants to take their first steps in the motor world.
