The Eilabun Local Council is pleased to invite the general public to the Olive Branch Days Festival, on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The festival will offer a rich and unique experience with a variety of activities for the whole family: Folk performances from the Galilee and Greece including Dabke, Zajal and the Autar band, tastings of high-quality olive oil and authentic products, a rich fair with stalls selling olive oil, za'atar, natural soap, dibs (molasses), handicrafts and books, guided tours of historic Eilabun (registration in advance), inflatable dolls for children, caricature artists, and a variety of experiential workshops for children and adults including face painting, stone painting workshop, henna drawings, natural soap making and a Darbuka workshop tent.
The event takes place as part of the Olive Branch Days Festival in the Galilee, and will include the "Olive Bridge - Between Eilabun and Kalamata" conference, with the participation of a delegation of experts from Greece specializing in the field of olives, farmers, producers, artists and dignitaries on behalf of the Plants Council. The conference will create a platform for cultural discourse, professional knowledge exchange and a living connection to the Galilean and Greek olive heritage. The conference will take place on Sunday, November 9.)
The Olive Branch Days Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary and is being led by the Galilee Development Authority, the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and Galilee and National Resilience, the Olive Branch at the Plants Council, the Galilee Authority Clusters, the Ministry of Tourism, Restart LeGalil from Beit Ruach HaGalil founded by Raya Strauss, KKL, tourism operators, farmers and many partners who have joined together to hold the festival, headed by the Eilabun Local Council. The event offers a rich community celebration of flavors, scents, sounds and culture - a rare opportunity to experience the world of olives in all its richness.
The Olive Branch Days Festival spans dozens of settlements in the Galilee, the Golan and the Valleys.
