Tel Aviv Port Launches a New Summer Attraction: "Over-the-Top Festival at the Port"

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12, for three weeks, the Tel Aviv Port will transform into a sweet and colorful kingdom by the sea with the "Over-the-Top Festival at the Port" – a new summer attraction for the whole family, running until the end of the summer vacation with free admission.

At nightfall, giant displays up to 10 meters high will light up throughout the port, including a birthday cake, an ice cream cone, cotton candy, colorful gummy bears, a donut, a lollipop, and other exhibits inspired by the world of sweets.

Alongside the displays, visitors will enjoy interactive photo complexes, colorful characters, workshops for children, and digital gaming stations inspired by the world of candy. The sandbox area will turn into a "marshmallow pool" made of giant pink and white beanbags, offering a lounging area for the whole family. At the marina, there will be a light show accompanied by music, performed every half hour.

As part of the festival, a new pop-up complex by Nadav Bornstein, one of the prominent names behind several viral culinary trends in Israel in recent years, will be established. Warm chocolate chip cookies will be baked on-site in front of visitors and sold in special packages, alongside unique sweet dishes developed specifically for the festival.

Selected restaurants at the port will also join the celebration, each offering an "over-the-top" main course or dessert, specially prepared for the festival and served in a limited edition throughout the duration of the event.

The "Over-the-Top Festival at the Port" will take place from August 12 to 31 across the Tel Aviv Port, Sunday to Thursday between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM, and on Saturday nights from the end of the Sabbath until midnight.

Admission is free. It is recommended to arrive via public transportation.
